That is a great question that I never have a great answer to.
I am so many things. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, and niece. I am a yogi and a runner. I am also a molecular biologist (although that defines me less than the rest.) I am a student and a teacher. I am a fitness nut, and a nutritional disaster. I am happy, sad, hopeful, confused, joyful, and angry. I am liberal in many of my views, yet a republican voter. I am an underground foodie who has random food allergies. But mostly I am who I am (thanks Popeye!).
I love fitness in all forms and teach yoga and a weight lifting class at my local YMCA. I also recently returned to running. I try to be fit and active every day of my life and whenever I accomplish that goal I feel better about who I am. So in some strange way, my fitness journey is directly responsible for who I am in that moment.
I don't know if anyone will read this, but it seemed like every step in my fitness journey is an adventure that should be shared.
